On this day 81 years ago, Allied Forces launched the largest amphibious invasion in history. We honor and remember the thousands of soldiers who sacrificed their lives on D-Day, a turning point in World War II. Their bravery and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
Thank you to the nearly 100 people who showed up and showed out for your Scotch Plains Democratic team this past Sunday at our annual bbq fundraiser! The SPDC is poised to keep supporting our fantastic Mayor and Council as they do the important work of bringing sustained, lasting #progress to the people of Scotch Plains! Earlier this evening, Scotch Plains Councilman Roc White received the distinguished Chester Holmes Humanitarian Award in recognition of his lifetime of service. A father, veteran, labor leader, and councilman, Roc has committed his life to causes greater than himself. We salute you Councilman White!
