The energy at the UCDC victory party was electric last night, as Democrats ran the tables up and down the ballot. It was all smiles as the returns poured in! Special congratulations to Governor-elect Mikie Sherrill and our friend, Assemblyman-elect Vinnie Kearney, on his historic upset victory that flipped LD-21 blue! Democrats prevailed all over the county, including a clean sweep of our Assembly seats, the County Commissioner races, the County Clerk’s race, and important municipal contests in Berkeley Heights, Cranford, Fanwood, Garwood, Linden, New Providence, Plainfield, Rahway, Roselle, Roselle Park, Springfield, Summit, Union, and Westfield! Special thanks to all the hardworking staff members of the UCDC that give our candidates the advantage with the best ground game in the business! Under the leadership of our Chairman, Senate President Nick Scutari and our Vice-Chair, Assemblywoman Linda Carter, we continually have increased our plurality each and every cycle. The future is very bright!
