Vote!
Your vote is your voice, so it is important to ensure you are registered to vote before election day! You can verify your Voter Registration, as well as find additional information on how and where to vote below. 2024 Primary Election Day is Tuesday, June 4th. 2024 General Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th.
Register to Vote

If you are not registered, you can register by:

- OR download the Union County Voter Registration Form (click here for English; click here for Spanish), fill it out and mail to the Union County Commissioner of Registration.
- NOTE: The deadline to register is 21 days before an election
How to Vote
Head to your local polling place (if you’re unsure where that is, use the link below to find out) on election day!
If you would like to vote early, please visit https://ucnj.org/boe/2023-early-voting/ for information on which locations you can visit to cast your early vote. Please note that ANY Union County voter can vote at ANY Union County early voting site. The early voting schedule is:
- Primary Election Early Voting – Wednesday, May 29th – Sunday, June 2nd
- General Election Early Voting – Saturday, October 26th – Sunday, November 3rd
If you would prefer to vote by mail, you can apply to vote by mail starting 45 days prior to election day:
- Download the Union County Application For Vote By Mail Ballot Form (click here for English; click here for Spanish), fill it out and mail to the Union County Clerk
- OR request that an Application For Vote by Mail Ballot Form is mailed to you. Click here to start your request.
- NOTE: The deadline to complete this is 7 days before an election – The application must be physically in the Clerk’s office to be valid.
- A voter may also apply in person up until 3pm the day before election day.
